- Station 61 Tours
Tours will last approximately 30 minutes. Each tour starts with an age-appropriate safety discussion followed by a walk-through of the station and apparatuses. During the tour, the crew will be in service; please inform the children that there will be loud noises and the equipment can not be touched. The fire apparatus and ambulances may have to respond to emergencies during your visit. It is important for everyone’s safety to keep all children controlled throughout the tour and follow all instructions from the crew.
Group and school tours are by appointment only. They are available on weekdays between 10:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. and not on weekends or holidays.
For the safety of the crew and visitors, tours have a limit of 16 children and 8 Adults. You are required to provide the appropriate number of chaperones for your group. We require 1 adult per 2 children under the age of 5 and 1 adult for every 5 children over the age of 5. Strollers and wagons are not allowed in the station.

The fire station is on call 24 hours a day. Even with a booked tour, the crew may be called out, and the station may be closed when you arrive. If this happens, please wait 15 minutes and then call the Administrative Office. They will be happy to reschedule your tour for another day.
