Kaysville City has launched a new system to improve communication and response efficiency during power outages. Utilizing the Power Department's Advanced Meter Infrastructure, this new system offers predictive outage analysis, enhancing service during such events.
Residents will now report power outages via text, phone call, or website. The new website features a live outage map, and registered users will receive real-time updates via text.
Starting May 11, 2024, residents with a cell phone number in the city's billing system will be automatically enrolled for updates on power outages, ensuring prompt information dissemination during power outage events.
