Join Us for the Burn 5K – Support Burn Survivors and Celebrate Real-Life Heroes!
An inspiring event that brings the community together to support burn survivors and the incredible programs that serve them. Hosted by the University of Utah Burn Center, this event raises funds for burn camps that help survivors of all ages—from preschoolers to adults—and promotes vital burn safety education. Whether you walk, run, volunteer, or simply come to cheer on participants, every form of support makes a difference. Burn camp staff and nurses know how much these programs mean to survivors and their families, and your participation shows them they’re not alone. Fire departments across the state are encouraged to attend in uniform and bring their families. The department with the most attendees will be recognized both at the event and afterward—so let’s show up in full force! Let’s stand with burn survivors and show them the strength of the firefighter family and our amazing community.
