Kaysville City has begun construction at the intersection of Main St. and Mutton Hollow for road widening and traffic light installation. This project will enhance the intersection and improve safety for all users. Project completion is expected by fall 2025.
WHAT TO EXPECT DURING CONSTRUCTION:
- Traffic Impacts: Two lanes of traffic will remain open throughout the project (one lane in each direction). Traffic will be shifted depending on where crews are actively working.
- Temporary Closures: Short-term closures will occur only during paving operations. Advance notice will be provided and detour routes will be marked to minimize inconvenience.
- Working Times: Construction will occur Monday through Friday during daylight hours.
- Access: Will be maintained to businesses and residences. In cases of unavoidable interruptions, affected parties will receive notification at least 24 hours in advance.
- Potential Disruptions: Increased noise, vibrations, and dust.
