There are four (4) city council positions to be voted on this year:
One (1) City Council position (2-year term), January 2020 - January 2022
Three (3) City Council positions (4-year term), January 2020 - January 2024
All candidates running for office were provided an opportunity to submit a photograph, a short biographical or campaign statement, and campaign contact information with the Davis County Clerk's office. Two of the candidates running for a 2-year City Council position and six of the candidates running for the 4-year City Council positions will move on to the General Election.
Primary Election ballots started to be mailed on July 23rd. Ballots can be returned in the mail or dropped off in the ballot box at Kaysville City Hall (23 East Center Street). If you did not received your mailed ballot and are a registered voter, please contact the Davis County Clerk's office at 801-451-3589 or at: http://www.daviscountyutah.gov/clerk-auditor/elections2. You can also visit their website to verify if you are a registered voter, or to become a registered voter.
Should you wish to vote the day of the primary election, August 13, 2019, please note that Kaysville's vote center has been moved from City Hall to the Kaysville Library located at 215 North Fairfield Road. Election Day Vote Centers are open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
