The National Weather Service’s most resent briefing regarding snow pack temperatures and run off can be found here. This briefing compares other year's snowpacks and runoff scenarios and compares those conditions to this year. We've experienced an incredibly wet and cold late May. These weather conditions have altered the peak flow scenario, and we're heating up. As such, expect rivers to rise dramatically through the second week of June.
As mentioned previously, Kaysville City is making sand bags available for residents. We are currently limiting Kaysville residents to 10 bags a piece. It is the resident’s responsibility to properly dispose of sandbags after use.
Sandbags may be obtained at the Northeast corner of Kaysville City Operations Center located at 721 W Old Mill Lane.
