[ARCHIVED] Angel Street and 200 North Intersection

angel

Kaysville City is excited to be wrapping up the 200 North and Angel Street Intersection project. We appreciate everyone's patience through this construction process. The new stoplight is scheduled to be operational sometime in the next two weeks. As part of this project we will be striping the road on Friday July 13 from Flint to Angel in a unique way for Kaysville. Over the past several years Kaysville has become more and more aware of the importance of safe active transportation options for residents of our community. After listening to residents and analyzing what's best for that area, the striping on 200 North from Flint to Angel will provide 3 lanes of traffic for automobiles but will also include a dedicated bike lane with safety buffer on the north and the south sides of the road connecting Angel to the Smith’s area and the DNR&G trail. Parking will not be allowed on this section of 200 North. City officials will keep an eye on traffic flow in this area and are very excited to provide a safe place for bikes and pedestrians of all kinds to connect from Angel and the trail. We look forward to continually improving our transportation network for all modes of transportation.
