KAYSVILLE CITY COUNCIL SELECTS NEW COUNCIL MEMBER TO FILL VACANCY
At a special meeting of the Kaysville City Council, held on June 26, 2018, Mayor Witt and City Council Members interviewed 11 applicants to fill one vacant council position. After interviews and two rounds of voting, the City Council selected Stroh DeCaire, current Planning Commission Member, to fill the vacancy on the City Council. Council Member James Hansen is vacating the position to accept a fellowship in Washington, D.C.
Stroh DeCaire will be sworn-in on July 20, 2018 and will participate in the regularly scheduled City Council meetings beginning in August.
Mayor Witt and the City Council extend their thanks and appreciation to Stroh DeCaire and all who applied and took part in this process.
