With Governor Herbert moving the pandemic threat level from Red to Orange, Kaysville City will be taking steps to become more productive while continuing to focus on health and safety. Some changes planned for May, 2020 as things continue to improve and we move from High Risk to Moderate Risk include:
- Focusing on supporting Businesses as they start to reopen May 1 as instructed by Governor Herbert and the Davis County Health Department.
- Extending Kaysville City office hours to “regular” 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Thursday and 8:30 am to 1:00 pm on Friday while continuing to meet face to face with customers by appointment only. Kaysville City Office will remain closed to walk in traffic.
- Plans to open park facilities such as basketball, pickleball, volleyball, etc. on May 15. This decision was made in conjunction with mayors from all Davis County Cities.
- Park restrooms will be open on May 1.
We ask each resident and visitor to Kaysville to continue to practice safe social distancing. Once a facility is open this does not mean it is safe to congregate in groups larger than 20. And even in groups this size, social distancing is a must. Please consult the Davis County Health Department for more information specific to our area.
Thank you for your cooperation and keep up the good work Kaysville!
