Sunset Drive will be paved on Thursday October 17th and possibly Friday the 18th. Crews will be starting at 7 am each day, and are hoping they can finish the whole stretch in one day, but they are planning time on Friday in case they have problems. It's very important that we have all drivers and pedestrians stay off of all new asphalt on Sunset Drive completely from 7 am on Thursday October 17th until the barricades are removed on Friday October 18th. New Pavement can cause serious damage to vehicles and persons. If there are any repair cost for any damages to the pavement caused by bypassing barricades, it will be the responsibility of those bypassing posted closure signs and barricades. Detours will be marked.
