Every year at the beautiful Kaysville Cemetery a wonderful program is shared with our community to honor those that have served our country. This program is for those who have served and their and loved ones. The program is put on by members of the Kaysville community and it makes a great way to start off your Memorial Day.
The Kaysville Memorial Day Committee is pleased to announce our Annual Memorial Day Celebration at the Kaysville Cemetery. The celebration will take place on Memorial Day at 10:00 a.m. on the west side of the Kaysville Cemetery.
Our featured speaker this year is Perry Oaks.
Come and honor our fallen Veterans and join us for a wonderful program. Seating for the program is limited. Please bring, chairs, blankets and maybe an umbrella in case it rains. The program generally lasts an hour to an hour and 15 minutes and is a great event to attend and share with our youth so that they might join in our national heritage of service and sacrifice.
If you are interested in volunteering to help place celebratory American flags on the grave of every Veteran buried at the cemetery, help setting up and taking down chairs for the program, or help with the Veteran flag cleanup, please reach out to our cemetery office at 801-497-7140 or by emailing cemetery@kaysville.gov.
