It must have a defined time frame, an agenda, and be financially accounted for as a separate cost center or line item by the governing non-profit organization or institution. Tier I program funding for recreation, arts, museum, and parks cannot exceed one-fourth of the applying entity’s annual yearly operating budget as averaged over the prior three (3) years, excluding any past RAMP grant funds. Tier II program funding for recreation, arts, museum, and parks cannot exceed one-fourth of the applying entity’s annual yearly operating budget from the prior year. RAMP funds are not available for the general ongoing operating expense or overhead of any organization. The majority of non-profit board members must reside in Utah.
