Code Enforcement

The Kaysville City Code Enforcement Officer protects the quality of life in City neighborhoods by seeking maximum compliance to Kaysville City code requirements concerning exterior property maintenance. The purpose of ordinance enforcement is to promote the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of Kaysville City. This purpose includes protecting neighborhoods against hazardous and deteriorating conditions that contribute to the degradation of neighborhood property values. Complaint Form

If you have a zoning violation complaint, fill out a Complaint Form (PDF) and send it to City Hall, or submit a form online. The Enforcement Officer will investigate the complaint and take appropriate action.

Litter, trash, junk or debris stored outside is a violation. If an item doesn't belong outside or is not being used for its intended purpose, it must be stored in an enclosed structure such as a shed, garage or home.

Illegal Street ParkingIllegal Street Parking

Any vehicle including campers, utility trailers, boats, motor homes, and recreational vehicles are only permitted to use the city’s roadways for short term parking. No vehicle is permitted to be parked on the city roadway between midnight and 6:00 a.m. from the first day of November until the last day of February each year.
