Kaysville GIVES: Sharing the Spirit of the SeasonNow in its ninth year, Kaysville GIVES continues to brighten the holidays for local children and families. What started with just a few giving-tree tags in City Hall has grown into a community-wide effort that showcases the generosity and heart of Kaysville residents. This year, the program aims to support more than 550 children from Kaysville-area schools through donated gifts, sponsorships, and contributions from individuals and local businesses. The fundraising goal is $80,000, helping ensure every child receives something meaningful this Christmas. Each contribution—whether it’s sponsoring a child, donating online, or sharing the program with others—adds to a collective effort that brings joy to families throughout the city. The KaysvilleGIVES.com website makes it easy to participate. Residents and businesses can sponsor a child, shop from curated wish lists, or make a direct donation. Kaysville GIVES reminds us that the true spirit of the season shines brightest when we come together to give, serve, and lift those around us. To learn more or get involved, visit KaysvilleGIVES.com. Kaysville GIVES runs until December 11th

Winter Parking RestrictionsIt’s that time of year again — chilly mornings, cozy blankets, space heaters, and winter parking rules! From November 1 through March 1, no vehicles may be parked on city streets between 12:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. (City Code 6-2b-4(8)). Keeping cars off the roads helps our snowplow crews clear roads safely and efficiently during winter storms. Please remember to move your vehicles to avoid citations — even if the weather looks clear. Citations will be issued whether it snows or not. Thank you for helping keep Kaysville’s roads safe this winter!

Winter Visibility Starts with Your WindshieldNow that temperatures are dropping, take a few extra minutes before hitting the road! Make sure your windshield is clear before you go. Your visibility can prevent accidents and keep everyone safe!

Winter is Coming: Snow Plow & Snow Removal RemindersOur Public Works team works hard to keep roads clear and safe during winter storms, prioritizing major routes and emergency access. Plow drivers often work early mornings and late nights—give them a wave if you see them out! You can even track snowplows in real time during storms on our Snow Plow Map (LIVE). Sidewalks & Roadway SnowCity ordinance requires property owners to keep sidewalks adjacent to their property clear of snow and ice. Please avoid shoveling or blowing snow into the street, as it can create hazards and disrupt plow operations. While crews do their best, snow pushed into driveways during plowing is unavoidable—thank you for your patience and cooperation. Fire HydrantsIf a hydrant is near your home, please clear at least a 3-foot perimeter and a path to the street to ensure firefighters can access it quickly in an emergency.

Newly Expanded Display Space at City HallKaysville City Hall now features an expanded museum display area. Two of the new exhibits include: the LeConte Stewart Art Gallery and a tribute to Joseph Barton, leader of the historic Kaysville Brass Band. The displays are open during regular city office hours—stop by and sign the guest book in the foyer. LeConte Stewart Exhibit This gallery showcases furniture and fixtures from the original Main Street location, along with prints of Stewart’s artwork and several of his personal items, including the portable art case and outdoor painting gear he used throughout Davis County. Joseph Barton Exhibit This display features Barton’s Kaysville Brass Band uniform, donated by Noel Barton, and the coronet he played—on loan from the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. The band played an important cultural role in early Kaysville. Additional updates, including window graphics to protect the exhibits, are coming soon. Many thanks to city staff, museum volunteers, and board members who have helped prepare and arrange the displays. Visit Kaysville-Fruit Heights Museum of History & Art for more information.
