Today Marks 150 Years of Kaysville
Today at 5:00 pm in City Hall, Kaysville City will celebrate 150 years of being the first city in Davis County to become incorporated.
We will be celebrating with a combined choir of 130 students from all of Kaysville’s elementary schools. They will be singing a new anthem written for this event by resident, Craig Nybo. A city declaration will be read by Rep. Brad Wilson, Majority Leader and longtime resident of the city. Mayor Katie Witt of Kaysville City, will be in attendance to begin a year’s worth of celebration for the city.
Kaysville City will be celebrating through out the year with the parade and 4th of July Fireworks dedicated to the celebration, as well all the community events sponsored by the city and supported by their wonderful volunteers.
Kaysville City has been Utah’s hometown since 1849 when settled by William Kay. It continues to honor years of tradition while moving forward to a progressive future.
We hope to see you tonight to celebrate and enjoy the children's choir and birthday cake.
