2023 Municipal Election Candidate Filing Happening Now

Have you ever thought about running for City Council? 

The 2023 Municipal Election filing period is happing now through this Wednesday, June 7 before 5:00 PM.

Those interested in declaring their candidacy for one of the 3 councilmember seats (4-year terms) must do so in person at the City Recorder's Office (23 East Center Street, Kaysville) between 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. A $100 non-refundable filing fee is required. 

Candidates who file for municipal office are required to be a US citizen, be a registered voter of Kaysville City, be a resident of Kaysville City for at least 12 consecutive months prior to the date of the election, and be mentally competent, have not been convicted of a felony, and have not been convicted of treason or a crime against the elective franchise.
