Youth Court Swearing In

Kaysville Youth Court Sworn In

At the City Council Meeting held on January 19, the 2023 Youth Court Judges were sworn in by Mayor Tran. Youth Court is a volunteer program where highs school students develop an understanding and respect for the legal process. They serve as judges, mentors, bailiffs and clerks, and they teach peer counseling and peer tutoring classes. Youth Court has been operating for 22 years now and are supported by two Youth Court advisors, a Police Department representative, and a City Council representative. We are grateful for these youth and their willingness to serve their peers.
