Kaysville GIVES 2022

Another Successful Year from Kaysville GIVES

Kaysville GIVES was able to deliver Christmas to over 120 families with the help of their partner, Young Truck and Trailer, this year. We had many businesses and several individuals contribute by filling donations through Amazon, the Kaysville GIVES website, taking tags off of the virtual tree, as well as attending and donating to the "Fill the Firetruck" event. We simply couldn't keep track of the donors, but we appreciate you all!

Thank you to our volunteers Mindi Edstrom, Crista Crane, Tami Tran, Karen Dent, Emily Murphy, Shannivee Frasure, and Shanna Baker.  Also a big thanks to staff from Kaysville City Administration, Parks and Recreation, Power, and the Fire Department for helping behind the scenes. Kaysville is home to many wonderful people and their support meant a brighter Christmas for many!

Kaysville Cemetery - Wreaths Across America

Wreaths Across America

On Saturday, December 17th at the Kaysville City Cemetery, Blue Star Families and National Wreaths Across America Day conducted a program and activity honoring the Veterans, those who now serve in various branches, those who gave their lives, and POWs.  After the program volunteers helped to locate grave sites and lay 153 wreaths on graves within the cemetery. We are grateful for Nancy Tippets who organized the event, along with other service members, families and volunteers that participated. We are looking to have even more wreaths in 2023. Watch for this opportunity again next December to join with other community members in honoring our Veterans. Sponsor a wreath here: https://bit.ly/BSF_WAA.
